| From Newport, Oregon our passage took us to San Francisco with an intermediate stops at Newport, Oregon and Fort Bragg, California. Cape Mendocino represents the potentially worst weather of the west coast. Like the coast further north, there are relatively few good harbors that can provide refuge in case of bad weather. |
